Part of our third day in New York was watching ‘The Lion King’ on Broadway. It’s a musical based on the Disney movie of the same name, the third-longest running and highest grossing Broadway musical of all time, and it’s famous songs include ‘Hakuna Matata’, ‘Circle of Life’, and ‘Can you Feel the Love Tonight’. Before we went to New York, I have been discussing with my parents how much I wanted to watch something on Broadway, no matter what the show was. Since I already watched Wicked and Les Miserables in Manila, I suggested to watch Phantom of the Opera since it is a classic Broadway show and the prices are reasonable. With my parents not being huge Broadway fans, they knew that Phantom was really dramatic and long so they wanted to watch something upbeat, which is why we booked for 3 tickets to ‘The Lion King’ instead.

Last November 21, I was able to witness one of the greatest vocalists of this generation. If you are familiar with the 2015 Grammy Song of the Year “Stay With Me”, then I’m pretty sure you know who I’m talking about. He is no other than Sam Smith, who mesmerized the hearts of many Filipinos during his concert at the Mall of Asia Arena. Click here for more pictures.
Here are all my pictures from Maroon 5’s V Tour in Manila held at the Mall of Asia Arena last September 17. If you wanna read my full article, read here. Also give credits to my blog before grabbing. Thanks!
She Will Be Loved. This Love. Misery. Makes Me Wonder. Maps. Sugar. The list goes on and on. Maroon 5 has been making hits for over a decade, and I was really hyped when I was able to watch their fourth concert here in Manila last September 17. The concert was sold out, and I was really stoked that I got tickets to see one of my favorite rock bands live, whose songs will keep you dancing on your feet and stage presence to bring you a whole lot of energy. Labeled as the most phenomenal power couple of our time, I’m pretty sure most Filipinos (and even people from around the world) have heard of the word ‘AlDub’ aka the ship name of Alden Richards, an actor and TV host from GMA, a Philippine television network, and Maine Mendoza, the Dubsmash Queen of the Philippines who is famous for her role as “Yaya Dub” on the hit Philippine Variety show Eat Bulaga.
2015 is the year where indie rock artists and bands rose to fame, and Manila was once again lucky to be able to watch one band whose famous anthem, “Shut Up and Dance” is evidently heard on radios and can be seen on the charts. The band behind this song is Walk the Moon (WTM), and they had a mall tour here in the Philippines last August.
Katy Perry’s highly-anticipated return to Manila for her Prsimatic World Tour brought me to over excitement on the morning of May 7. Despite the concert starting at 8 pm, my parents and I left home en route to the Philippine Arena which was the venue for the show. With this arena located at Bulacan which is more or less 3 to 4 hours away from us, we had to leave early. And even if this concert resulted to us arriving back home at 3 am, hands down it was the best concert I’ve ever seen. Objectively speaking.
Hi! Here are my photos from The Script’s No Sound Without Silence Tour held on April 17, 2015 at the Mall of Asia Arena. To read my article click here. Please do give credit to this blog before grabbing the pics. Thank you and enjoy!
Happy to say that I finally saw the band I’ve loved since I was 11 years old last April 17. This band is of Irish descent and is known for their hits “Breakeven”, “Nothing”, “Hall of Fame”, “Superheroes”, and many more. This band is no other than The Script and they set Manila cheering once again as they held their 3rd concert in the country at the Mall of Asia Arena.
After 13 hours of lining up to buy tickets and almost five years of waiting for them to come, the On The Road Again Tour of One Direction finally made its way to Manila and everyone expected it to be the the best night of their lives.
Hey guys I’m really sorry for not updating for a long time. We had a ton of school work for the past months so I didn’t have time to update my blog. I know that it’s already late but I would still like to take this opportunity to share with you all my experience last August when I met Christina Grimmie.
Cory Monteith was a Canadian actor known for his role “Finn Hudson” on the hit series Glee. He was 31, such a young man with a good heart. Unfortunately, he passed away last year. It’s been 365 days since Cory’s passing, and I remember how I found out like it was just yesterday.
Hey guys! Sorry for the super duper late update on our Macau trip. It’s been almost 3 weeks since we came back, but I’ve been so busy. I’ll try my best to post all the things we did before school starts. School begins next week, so expect me to post during weekends by then. For now I present to you our third day in Macau!
