In The Mix Music Festival

What wouldn’t be the best way to enjoy the night than by listening to six acts perform live all night (with two of those being your fave bands and one of those being one of your fave solo artists) and jumping, screaming and singing your heart out until midnight? I experienced all of these last Thursday, August 18, 2016, during the In the Mix Music Festival at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Night Manila Felt the Sweetness

She Will Be Loved. This Love. Misery. Makes Me Wonder. Maps. Sugar. The list goes on and on. Maroon 5 has been making hits for over a decade, and I was really hyped when I was able to watch their fourth concert here in Manila last September 17. The concert was sold out, and I was really stoked that I got tickets to see one of my favorite rock bands live, whose songs will keep you dancing on your feet and stage presence to bring you a whole lot of energy.Β Click here for more pictures.Β

When Walk the Moon Made Us Shut Up and Dance

2015 is the year where indie rock artists and bands rose to fame, and Manila was once again lucky to be able to watch one band whose famous anthem, “Shut Up and Dance” is evidently heard on radios and can be seen on the charts. The band behind this song is Walk the Moon (WTM), and they had a mall tour here in the Philippines last August.

‘Superheroes’ in Manila

Happy to say that I finally saw the band I’ve loved since I was 11 years old last April 17. This band is of Irish descent and is known for their hits “Breakeven”, “Nothing”,  “Hall of Fame”, “Superheroes”, and many more. This band is no other than The Script and they set Manila cheering once again as they held their 3rd concert in the country at the Mall of Asia Arena.
