Releasing My Inner Katniss Everdeen

A few months ago, my cousins and I tried out a new hobby: Archery! We are huge fans of Katniss Everdeen, Hawkeye and Arrow so we decided to channel these fictional characters and tried to shoot some targets! There was a newly opened archery place here in BF Homes, Parañaque (PH) called Kodanda. It’s located along Aguirre Avenue and I think they also have a branch in Makati. The rates for an hour of archery sessions amount to Php585. This includes the equipment needed to shoot and you get to keep your target paper too!

Age of Ultron Review

Avengers

3/10 of my Disney Movie Challenge. 2/10 of my Marvel Movie Challenge. Every Marvel fan waited for 3 years to be able to watch the sequel of Avengers which was released in 2012. Today is finally the day we’ve been waiting for! May 1st marks the premiere date of the second installment of Avengers with the subtitle, Age of Ultron (AoU). I was lucky to watch “Into the Woods” tonight since it only premiered in my country this week, and the movie inspired me to set up a challenge for myself, and feel free to join me if you want.

Guardians of the Galaxy: The Review

1/10 of my Marvel Movie Challenge. If the “Avengers” are earth’s mightiest heroes, outer space has its own. They are the Guardians of  the Galaxy, and the Marvel-produced film was released last July. To be honest, when I watched the trailer for the first time, I was like “Who are these creatures? Are they some kind of mediocre Avengers wannabees? And why are they using 80’s songs?” But when I found out that the movie was a huge hit, curiosity (and Chris Pratt) made me watch the film.

How Amazing was The Amazing Spiderman 2?

For the 2nd time the new and improved Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) hits theaters when The Amazing Spiderman 2 (TASM 2) had its premiere here in Manila last April 30. Luckily I was chosen by Sky Cable, our local cable network, to join the premiere block screening they were sponsoring at the Newport Arts Cinema at Resorts World Manila.
