Hey guys!! I just turned 17 a few months ago so I asked my parents if they could enroll me in a driving school! They were happy to have me learn the basics of driving so they gave it a go. Here’s a short post sharing my experience:
Last August, I got my student driver’s permit and attended the driving orientation. The orientation taught us the parts of a car, what to do before driving and how to behave on the road.
I enrolled for 10 hours of driving lessons, which were split to 2 hours each, so I had 5 days for the sessions. On my first day, it was raining and the traffic was so bad so I didn’t go to many places. It was my first time to drive on the main road, so it was a little intimidating at first, with all the jeeps, trucks and buses, but as time passed by I felt comfortable already.
On the succeeding days, I already increased my speed and was more comfortable on the road. I also learned some parking techniques!! Overall, it was a fun experience and hopefully I would remember all that I learned so that I can get my actual license when I turn 18!
