The Force Has Woken

9/10 of my Disney Movie Challenge. A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, there existed a handful of iconic characters in the movie industry, specifically, a Jedi, a Jedi-in-training, a ptincess, a smugler (also a scruffy nerf herder), a Wookie, and someone from the Dark Side. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Well it’s Star Wars, one of the best movie franchises that ever existed. To be honest, I’ve only been a fan last month, nonetheless, I have watched all 6 movies and as well as the most recent one, the Force Awakens. (Feel free to click “Continue Reading”, I will not give any spoilers haha)

Finally, after 34 years of waiting, Star Wars finally made a sequel to the original trilogy which starred Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia). The recent movie explores two new characters, Rey, a Scavenger, and Finn, an ex-Stormtrooper. The movie made the newbies and the iconic characters unite, and it was spectacular.

For the hardcore fans, I know you agree with me that this movie is gonna make history. For the newly converted enthusiasts of the franchise, I really suggest that you watch it! Here’s for some advice: Near the end of the movie, may the force be with you!

  1. I have never actually watched all of the Star Wars movies. Everyone I know seems to be really into them though so maybe I should give them a whirl!

  2. I am still waiting to go and see this, we love a bit of Star Wars, but I wanted to make sure all the fuss had died down before going to the cinema to sit with over excited fans x

  3. I’m a bit of a fan of the star wars franchise and I’m diving to watch the new movie and haven’t had chance yet. It sounds like it’s amazing so I need to watch it soon. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and glad you are loving it.
