This year’s family vacation, we are bound for..Singapore! First impression? Very clean! The view from the airplane window is great and Changi Airport couldn’t have been anymore better.

We checked in at our hotel which was Marina Bay Sands. I was excited as I first saw a glimpse of the three-towered hotel with the famous infinity pool connecting the three buildings, and as well as its neighbouring attractions: Gardens by the Bay and Singapore Flyer.

Marina Bay Sands’ ambiance is very classy and its structure is really unqiue and one-of-a-kind. Our room was really nice and it has a very magnificent view of Gardens by the Bay.

We checked out the variety of shops found at Marina Bay and we also had lunch at their food court. There were lots of cuisines to choose from and the price of a full meal with rice ranges around 7-10 SGD. Afterwards we checked out The Helix Bridge and it is a nice spot for picture taking since you can have Marina Bay Sands, the Arts and Science Museum or Singapore Flyer as your background.

Our last agenda was to check out Gardens by the Bay at night. It was a very long and very exhausting walk from our hotel to the garden. However, it was all worth it to see the beautiful lights show up close.

Despite my feet hurting terribly as I write this, this day is unforgettable. It is my first time in Singapore you know. By the way, I really have a ton of great pics so most probably by the end of my trip I’ll make a gallery of all my pics from Singapore so stay tuned! For now look forward to the rest of my adventures tomorrow. Signing off!
