Once again 365 days filled with laughter and tears, ups and downs, twist and turns is officially over and we are now off to start a fresh new year. It has almost been a month since 2015 started but this is the only vacant time I had to do a quick post. Once again, I have a ton of school works to accomplish so I would just like to take this time to look at my life in 2014 and as well as to share with you my hopes and resolutions for the year.
Generally, 2014 was a rollercoaster for me. Well for starters, I began the first week of the year with stomach flu and I wasn’t able to go to school for 3 days. My grades also went down, and my aunt passed away due to cancer. Another sad news was only last month when my aunt suffered a miscarriage. These events marked as a wake up call for me so I decided to turn this bad moments of the year to good ones. Later last year, I never really got fever or worse sickness because I started keeping my health in check. My grades became really higher as well. I also became closer and more loving towards my mom and I also became more thankful to my parents because of what happened with my aunts. Bad moments aside, 2014 was generally a great year. I was able to attend two concerts. The first was Bruno Mars’ Moonshine Jungle Tour and the other was Christina Grimmie’s Mall Tour here in Manila. I was also lucky enough to get a Meet and Greet with her!
I also got to meet and have my books signed by 3 of my favorite authors Ransom Riggs, Tahereh Mafi and Veronica Rossi.
I also felt really excited and grateful because last year concert organizers here in the Philippines annoucned a lot of bands and artists that would be performing here this 2015 and I was able to buy tickets to three shows: one of my fave male artists Sam Smith, one of my fave rock bands The Script and the band that I’ve been waiting for since I became a fan in 2012, One Direction.
So basically those summed up the previous year! As for my new year resolutions, I really hope to be more dedicated to this blog and as well as to enhance my writing skills. I will also be saving up a lot of money so that I have a budget for books, albums and concerts. I would also like to be more organized and more of a planner. I will also try to be artistic and here’s a page from my new planner.
